In-House Laboratory Testing
in Naples, FL

Florida Bladder Institute offers convenient in-house laboratory testing to provide rapid and accurate diagnostic information for our patients. Having an on-site lab allows our team to quickly assess conditions related to urogynecology, such as urinary tract infections and other bladder issues. This capability is a crucial part of our commitment to efficient and effective patient care, enabling us to begin your personalized treatment plan without delay.

What Is In-House Lab Testing?

In-house laboratory testing involves analyzing biological samples, such as urine, directly within our office rather than sending them to an external facility. This process provides our clinical team with immediate access to critical health information. Common tests performed on-site include urinalysis and urine cultures, which are essential for diagnosing urinary tract infections (UTIs) and other bladder conditions.

Your On-Site Lab Testing Visit

During your appointment, a member of our team will guide you through the process of providing a urine sample. We provide a sterile, private environment and clear instructions to ensure the sample is collected correctly for accurate analysis.

Once collected, your sample is immediately processed in our on-site laboratory. Our trained staff uses advanced equipment to perform the necessary tests. This eliminates the delays associated with shipping samples to an outside lab.

Because the testing is done in-house, your results are often available within the same visit. Your provider can then review the findings with you directly, answer your questions, and discuss the diagnosis.

With immediate results, our team can make a prompt diagnosis and develop an effective treatment plan. This allows you to begin necessary therapies, such as antibiotics for a UTI, without waiting days for external lab results.
