Pelvic Pain Treatment
in Naples, FL

At Florida Bladder Institute, we understand that living with chronic pelvic pain can be disruptive and life-altering. The female reproductive and pelvic system is a complex network, and when its function is disrupted, it can cause significant discomfort. Our team is dedicated to diagnosing the root cause of your symptoms and developing a personalized plan to help you find relief.

What Is Pelvic Pain?

Pelvic pain refers to any discomfort experienced in the area below your abdomen and between your hip bones. It can be a sharp, sudden pain or a dull, chronic ache. Rather than a single disease, pelvic pain is often a symptom of an underlying medical condition affecting the reproductive, urinary, or digestive systems.

Common Symptoms of Pelvic Pain

Potential Causes of Pelvic Pain

A wide range of conditions can lead to pelvic pain, and a thorough evaluation is necessary to identify the specific cause. Common culprits include endometriosis, where uterine tissue grows outside the uterus, and uterine fibroids, which are noncancerous growths. Other causes can include pelvic organ prolapse, interstitial cystitis, and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).
